Pippa's Arm Candy Gets It's Own Range..

Ok, so I think it is fair to say that everyone has gone 'Pippa Mad', we all want to know what she is wearing, where she got it, and how can we get the same?! Well as we stated in a recent blog, we are in look as she shops on the high street. We also all know that a girls most treasured possesion is her handbag, all good things are kept there ;) And now we can get one just like Pippa too.
She was recently spotted wearing handbag from little-known high street label, Modalu. The brand have recently revealed that they will be renaming the range of classic arm candy after her, as she is their most famous fan. The bag sold out on their website straight after Pippa was spotted with it. Although the 'Pippa' is sold out, they will be reissuing her shark grey medium grab bag under it's new name.

Pippa Middleton stole the show at this years big event, The Royal Wedding. She has rapidly become a fashionista in the eyes of us all. We all want to see what she is wearing, and where she got it. The good news is girls, she shops on the high street too, so we can afford to be just like her and have a little bit of a royal feel to our step.. ;)
The sister's both wearing Zara.
She was recently spotted leaving wedding hotel in a high street blazer from Zara, she teamed it with a pair of white skinny jeans and a fresh face.
She also loves French Connection, wearing a pretty pink dress with a Marks and Spencer navy trench.
Pippa is definitely a girl after our own hearts, here at Flutterby we love her style and she is surely one to watch this year.
Her sis, Kate is also a fan wearing an elegant Zara dress with a pair of black wedges. Perfect for any Princess ;)

Cheryl Regains Her Fashion Title..

After Cheryl's first day at the auditions where she caused a few raised eyebrow's over her big hair and colour blocking trend. She is back, the fashionista we know and love. The US X Factor auditions have now moved to Chicago. She wore a back and white polka dot Sonia Rykiel shift dress which can be found on asos.com. She teamed this with a pair of dotty wedges. Her hair was in a relaxad upstyle and she wore bright red nails. Paula Abdul unfortunately failed to impress teaming two prints together, floral and leopard. We think Cheryl won this one ;)

Since the Royal Wedding, I don't think I have heard of anyone who didn't like the stunning dress worn by Pippa Middleton, and I know all of you blushing brides to be out there would love one just like it. We do not all have the luxury of being able to afford an Alexander McQueen gown as much as we all wish. There is good new girls though, you can get the dress for less. Exclusive Interview With Singer/Songwriter Keith Cullen..

Dublin born, Keith Cullen is a singer, songwriter and musician who loves to perform. At an early age, his parents introduced him to music genres as diverse as Frank Sinatra to rock , pop and the classic 80’s & 90′s. His home was always filled with sounds that shaped a generation and have influenced his music style. From a young age Keith loved to perform on the stage and appeared in many travelling musicals across Ireland. At the age of 18 he was accepted into the London school of performing arts, however after leaving school with dreams of persuing a music career those dreams were put on hold as Keith launched his own successful business.
However the allure of music remained strong and was reignited when he teamed up with fellow singer/ songwriter and producer JJ Daly in 2009, together they spent 8 months in the studio recording Keith’s debut album. When asked to describe the album, he says that he is really proud of the finished piece and can’t wait for people to hear it. He says that there is not a typical box that this album fits into. It’s music that I really believe in and came from no tricks no gimmicks, just great melodies and big vocals, and he is really excited to perform these live.

1. What was your childhood dreams?
My childhood dream was always music related, at an early age I was involved in musicals and toured the country up and down. It was a big goal of mine to perform as a solo artist and create a sound for myself that could make an impact!
 2. How did you get into the business?
Through sheer hard work and determination, vision and not taking no for an answer I now have a team of people around me who believe in my music and work endlessly to promote my career.

3. What and who are you inspirations?
Songs and voices that can stand the test of time and that can touch people are my inspiration! Classics that never get old that you can listen to over and over , one of my songwriting heroes is Ryan Tedder from One republic who songs are incredible (He recently wrote for Adeles new album "21")
4. What are your hopes and plans for the future?
I have just released my debut single and video "Losing My Way" and just finished supporting Shayne Ward. Check out www.kcmusic.ie for all latest news, blogs and gigs. You can also check me out on facebook and twitter/keithcullen

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW AND COMPETITION WITH IRISH DESIGNER BONZIE..

Bonzie Crotty is one of Ireland's best known designers. Bonzie is an Independent Irish design label with a romantic vintage appeal. It is quickly becoming Europe's must have fashion brand, utilising modern technologies and centuries old techniques. Each piece is hand crafted at Bonzie's purpose built studios, using hand picked sumptuous textiles that are sourced from the finest mills around the World. The label is set by Aunt and Niece duo, design guro's, Yvonne and Ger who work hand in hand to achieve the looks of some of the most unique and amazing pieces.
At Flutterby, we had to find out all about Bonzie.. We couldn't resist asking the questions I'm sure you are all dying to hear..

1. What were your childhood dreams?
As a child I always knew that I wanted to be an artist. I didn't realize at that age that it was specifically in the fashion industry, however my sister has fond memories of me creating a wardrobe by hand using curtain scraps at home for her extensive Barbie collection! (Apparently I didn't own a Barbie but I was always happy to be clothing them!) An early indicator no doubt!
2. How did you get into the business?
I studied Art and Design in NCAD, Dublin. During my time there I chose to specialize in Fashion Design and I never looked back. A tutor on staff warned us as 1st year students that if any of us were to decide on Fashion as a career then we must be prepared to eat, sleep and breathe it! (I now know that to be very true!) It's a challenging job and you must be prepared to give it a lot of passion and tenacity however it's also a very rewarding career.

3. Who are your inspirations?
My business partner, Ger and I are both really inspired by period costume. Our designs have a really romantic aesthetic and we both draw on the Victorian style clothing to inspire elements and base the silohuette on. Bonzie has a time worn aesthetic so basically anything antiquated or nostalgic works for us!
3. How do you keep up with the current trends?
I would have to say that we intentionally don't!! Bonzie is an artisan brand and our currency is Romance. We deal in lace, frills, pearls and tulle with a smidge of fairy dust! Trends are set by couture designers and high street buyers. It is our hope that our work is more than distinctive and has a character of it's own as opposed to feeding from the trend trench. That said we are very lucky that the current trend for Vintage fashion and accessories just happens to embrace our own style of work too!
4. What are your hopes and plans for the future?
Big plans, big hopes for Bonzie. I think we are both total dreamers at heart so we are always looking for the next opportunity, the next project, event to get involved in. We have recently moved into a new premises on Herietta St, Waterford, where Bonzie is available for the first time and our studio's are open to the public. Prior to this we were predominantly online so we are now in a position to meet clients personally and engage with our customers one on one! It's a really special process.

So there you have it ladies, Bonzie is very much the one and only unique and leading antique brand. Bonzie also picked up an award at this year's Irish Fashion Awards, organised by Faye Dinsmore for Ireland Most Influential Designer in Fashion!
Now, how can you WIN this exclusive piece? The stunning, Coquette Ruffled Scarf is up for grabs. All you have to do to win is tell us why you deserve this piece the most and the outfit you would wear it with. This scarf is perfect addition to a simple jacket or coat. The abundance of romantic ruffles adds a designer finish to even the simplest of outfits. So girls, what would you team it up with?
The piece up for grab's worn by Fade Streets Danielle Robinson.
All entries must be sent to flutterbyfashionstyling@gmail.com, with your full name and contact details. Best of luck to all. Competition ends May 23rd.
