Looks like Katie Holmes knew what she was doing when she posed for American Elle Magazine six weeks ago! With sexier pictures and a telling interview where she claimed that she was coming into "a new phase of her life" and god she wasn't joking Katie was letting the world know that this was a new her!

Hinting that Tom controlled her wardrobe too, Kaite says that she feels more confortable with herself now! Talking about growing up and being in her 30's the actress said, 'I definitely feel much more comfortable in my own skin. I feel sexier. I think in my 20s, it’s like you’re trying too hard to figure everything out. I’m starting to come into my own. It’s like a new phase.'

Through the interview she managed to avoid most of the Tom questions and made the interview about herself! She seems to have big plans ahead of her minus Tom. Spotted over the last few days, Katie looked much more relaxed and sexier! Gone are the jeans and baggie tops and just like Nicole Kidman did after her split with Tom out came the heels!
