When Balayage Goes Oh So Wrong!

The ombre/balayage trend has been one of the biggest hair trends to hit, well ever. It was started off by Whitney Port, SJP and Drew Barrymore who let their roots grow out, and ever since people have been getting their hair coloured this way, I event had it myself for a while.

It's great because you don't have to worry about roots and when it's done correctly it looks amazing. Some celebrities have taken a trend to a whole new level though, like Alexandra Burke and Rihanna - Ladies, what were you thinking? Extremely dark roots with blonde hair do not look good, the colours and tones have to be similar in order to nail this look. We can't help but wonder is Alexandra following Rihanna's style entirely?
